A showdown is set to take place between Boerne residents and city leaders over a controversial Buc-ee’s development in the Texas Hill Country.
Neighbors from the Menger Springs residential community — located about a mile and a half from the future travel center on Interstate 10 — will attend the Tuesday, August 12, city council meeting to call for increased transparency on the long-delayed Buc-ee’s that is in its very early stages of its development.
The residents say that Buc-ee’s is not adhering to city ordinances, which other businesses in the city must follow, but they did not provide specific examples…
