Police Searching For Suspect In Southeast D.C. Armed Robbery

WASHINGTON, DC.- The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a gunpoint robbery that occurred during the afternoon hours of June 10, 2025, in Southeast, D.C.

According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, just shortly before 3:00 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s First District responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a robbery on the 700 Block of South Capitol Street in Southeast, D.C.

Police Officers Learn That The Victim Was Robbed At Gunpoint

Upon arrival, Police Officers located a victim who reported to Police Officers that while on South Capitol Street, they were approached by a suspect, who pulled out a handgun and demanded their money and property. The victim complied, and the suspect fled the scene…
