It was an extremely hot Sunday afternoon up and down the Willamette Valley, with many locations hitting 100 degrees. In the metro area, Hillsboro, Troutdale, McMinnville and Aurora all got to 100 degrees. The Portland airport officially topped out at 99 degrees, and we’re expecting about the same or slightly hotter Monday.
HOT THROUGH TUESDAY
Our heat wave just keeps getting hotter– with forecast temperatures climbing closer to the triple digits through Tuesday. It seems as though models are running just a hair cool, so we cranked up Monday’s high temperature forecast to 100 degrees, and Tuesday to 97 degrees.
