RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – National Guard members from all 50 states and four U.S. territories are in Reno this week for the 54th annual Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) conference. The event runs Aug. 11–14 at the Grand Sierra Resort.
The conference brings together about 2,000 Guard members, veterans, and retirees to vote on the association’s top legislative priorities, take part in professional development workshops, and connect with peers from across the nation.
Speakers include Gen. Steven Nordhaus, Chief of the National Guard Bureau; Brig. Gen. D. Rodger Waters, Nevada’s Adjutant General; and Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve. Other military leaders will address attendees throughout the week…
