PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – Portland Fire & Rescue crews were busy responding to multiple fires on Sunday.
Crews first responded to a second-alarm fire in the King neighborhood. PF&R says crews found a wall of smoke that made it hard to see the home with the fire issue. Despite the wall of smoke, crews were able to quickly extinguish the porch fire. The cause is under investigation.
Firefighters then responded to a vegetation fire on Council Crest. Crews quickly extinguished the flames before it extended into nearby trees. PF&R says the cause of the fire is under investigation…
