CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 21-year-old was sentenced to prison Tuesday for stealing multiple weapons from a licensed firearms dealer in Charlotte, Russ Ferguson, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina, announced.
According to court records, on February 20, 2024, Moses crashed a stolen vehicle into Carolina Sporting Arms Company on South Boulevard, with the intent to steal firearms. After breaking into the store, Moses and an accomplice stole 20 firearms, including 18 handguns and two long guns.
The stolen guns were valued at more than $14,000.
A handful of teenagers were arrested in this case, including two 15-year-olds, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old. Moses was 20 at the time…
