At about 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department responded to a shots-fired call on Apple Valley Road, south of Old Clarksville Pike and East of Highway 12, near Fredonia.
In a release, officials said an adult male, not yet identified, was shot by the homeowner of the residence.
The gunshot victim left the scene, but was later located and was transported to a local hospital…
