East Columbus bar shuttered in 2022, sued by city for illegally reopening, shootings

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – An east Columbus bar has been shut down due to alleged repeated acts of violence and violations after reopening illegally earlier this summer.

According to the City Attorney’s Office, an illegal bar located at 5200 Riding Club Lane, that has been known by several different names, has been shuttered after a temporary restraining order was secured by the Columbus Property Action Team.

The bar has gone by the names “PKWY Lounge & Grill”, “Atlantis Grill & Sports Bar”, “LV Lounge” and “De La Soul” and has a history of violent crime and liquor law violations. The Shady Lane neighborhood bar was also the site of two recent shootings, the City Attorney’s Office said.
