HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A motor business headquartered in Evansville has made an agreement that involves a subsidiary of an Indian company.
CG DE SUB, LLC (CG USA) a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, India (CG), has entered into an agreement with Flanders Electric Motors Service, LLC (FLANDERS) to leverage local capabilities and offer products and services with competitive pricing and faster turnaround times to the railway sector. FLANDERS is an Evansville-based company.

According to FLANDERS, the USA market for railway traction motor replacements and refurbishments is substantial with an expansive rail network and increasing demand for solutions dominated by Class I railroads. CG says it recognizes a significant growth opportunity in the USA. To accelerate its expansion and capture this market, CG USA has entered into an agreement with FLANDERS. Both companies plan to scale capabilities and expand into USA rail markets.
