GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – In an update to the removal of 17 dogs from two Gainesville properties connected to a dog-fighting investigation, Alachua County Animal Services is petitioning the court to keep custody of the animals.
In the new court filing, many of the dogs were described as having scars from prior wounds, overgrown nails, missing teeth, and being covered in feces.
