The discovery of human remains in Lutz has triggered an official death investigation by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. According to a press release on the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office website, the deputies responded to a call on August 8, 2025, at around 11:20 a.m., leading them to a secluded area in the 19100 block of Ramblewood Road.
Upon arrival, the officers verified the presence of remains, reported to be that of a female with no evident signs of trauma.
