LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The City of Lubbock said it took its network offline on Tuesday. According to a statement, the City made the decision to evaluate a potential security concern.
The Lubbock Police Department said 911 is not affected by the shutdown. In a statement, Lubbock Fire Rescue said the “city’s push offline of the network has had minimal impact to public safety.”
