In the heart of the Village at Allen, Thai Box offers diners a colorful journey across Asia—one plate at a time. Once a quick-serve Thai restaurant, the space was reimagined into a more upscale, casual dining spot when Richard Lee took the helm in July. “We saw the potential right away,” Richard says. “It was a good location, and we wanted to create something that felt fresh, vibrant, and worth coming back for again and again.”
The name “Thai Box” is a playful nod to the restaurant’s original quick-serve roots, where meals were packaged like a lunch box. Today, that name represents far more than just Thai cuisine—it’s a true Asian fusion concept that draws from Thai, Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese traditions. “We wanted to give people more options while still keeping the menu focused on quality and flavor,” Richard explains.
