Weld County and the Residents Approves New Redistricting Map

Residents helped give feedback on the new redistricting map

The Weld County Board of Commissioners approved the new redistricting map, known as the Poudre Map, on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. This map outlines the boundary lines for commissioners’ districts in Weld County through 2032, according to a news release on August 6.

“We appreciate everyone who was involved in this process,” said Commissioner Chair Perry Buck. “I believe that through the hard work of our volunteer advisory committee and the input from many community members who are interested in this process, the county has a thoughtful map that will serve residents well.”

The newly approved map adjusts the border between the two southern districts, Districts 2 and 3, moving areas in the south-eastern corner, including Erie, from District 2 to District 3. It also moves Greeley and its surroundings from District 3 to District 1…
