Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in the central valley last week, highlighting ongoing concerns about street violence in the area.
Fox 5 Las Vegas reports that Vivian Jimenez, 34, and Joseph Skeirik, 30, were arrested Sunday on multiple charges including open murder and conspiracy to commit murder. The arrests stem from an August 6 shooting in the 2000 block of Sahara Avenue, near Interstate 15.
According to Las Vegas Review-Journal, officers responded to the scene around 2 a.m. on Wednesday after receiving reports of gunfire. Police discovered a male victim with a head wound who was immediately transported to University Medical Center.
Victim Dies Two Days Later
