GUILDERLAND — Construction on the site of the long-awaited new Costco in Guilderland continues as bulldozers moved dirt at the 16-acre site on Tuesday morning.
The site will feature a 163,000-square-foot Costco and a New York Oncology Hematology cancer treatment center located next to Crossgates Mall. It comes after five years of planning and legal battles, as well as the acquisition of houses in the site’s surrounding area.
So far, two concrete elevator shafts have been constructed for the cancer treatment center, said Guilderland Town Planner Kenneth Kovalchik.
