BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A bicyclist is dead after a crash with a vehicle in southwest Bakersfield Tuesday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Mohawk Street around 6:19 a.m. for the report of a vehicle and bike crash. At the scene, officers found a bicyclist who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigation showed, a vehicle was traveling northbound on Mohawk Street when a bicyclist traveling westbound on Tomer Way failed to stop at a stop sign on Mohawk Street…
