COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Good Wednesday morning! We’re kicking off the day with muggy air and plenty of clouds hanging around. But don’t worry—sunshine is on the way! As we move through the morning, expect skies to brighten up a bit, with clouds dancing across the region into the afternoon.

Tropical moisture from a low in the northern Gulf is fueling scattered showers and storms again today. It won’t be a washout, but keep the umbrella handy—especially if you’re out and about this afternoon. Looking ahead, we’ll shift back into a more familiar summertime pattern with pop-up afternoon storms as we head toward the weekend.
