A flood watch is now in effect for several counties in north Georgia.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Eboni Deon says a flood watch issued Wednesday has now been extended until 2 a.m. Thursday for the following counties: Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Cherokee, Dade, Dawson, Fannin, Floyd, Forsyth, Gilmer, Gordon, Hall, Lumpkin, Murray, Pickens and Polk, Union, Towns, Walker and Whitfield. It’s also in effect for Clay County, N.C.
