Wawa breaks ground in Murfreesboro

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — Wawa company leaders officially broke ground Tuesday on the company’s first location in Murfreesboro, one of six they plan to open in Middle Tennessee before the end of 2026.

Currently, site plans for three locations have been approved by the Murfreesboro City Council. Those will be built on Veterans Parkway, Bradyville Pike and New Salem Highway.
