CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Lowcountry 12-year-old Marielle Salas has cemented herself as one of the top karate competitors in her age group in the entire country. Salas will represent the USA at the Junior PanAmerican Championships at the end of August.
“Fighting is just like fun,” Salas said. “You get out your different emotions, if you’re mad or super excited about something.”
