Baby turkey, five chickens reported stolen from San Jose farm park

(KRON) — Officials are releasing surveillance footage following back-to-back animal thefts over the weekend at Emma Prusch Farm Park. It is not yet determined if the two incidents from the same night are tied to each other.

Multiple ShotSpotter alerts lead Oakland police to probe fatal shooting

San Jose Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services said “Megara”, a baby female turkey, was taken at 1:30 p.m. Sunday from the park at 647 S King Road.

Later that night, a suspect allegedly stole five chickens and left another dead after breaking into the chicken coop.

Parks officials said the coop has since been secured with new bolts and the barn is temporality closed…
