Four locally owned businesses are coming soon to the Mall of Monroe, 2121 N. Monroe St.
Mall owners are now looking for more businesses to fill the remaining eight to 10 vacant storefronts.
“New additions are coming in to the Mall of Monroe very soon,” said Joe Bell, director of corporate communications for Cafaro, the Ohio company that manages the Mall of Monroe. “There’s a lot of interest in schools that cater to dance, yoga and karate. We’re taking advantage of that.”
- The Dance Loft opened in the fall of 2024 at 105 E. Front St. in Monroe. It’s owned by Cheyenne Keller and Brittany Van Riper and offers a variety of classes for people of all ages. Early this fall, it will open in a 5,600 square foot space across from Dirty Birdie at the Mall of Monroe.

- Also opening in early fall is Japan Karate Academy, which trains students in traditional Japanese martial arts. It will operate in a 2,900 square foot space at the mall.
