Family, friends and community members have rallied to raise more than $60,000 for the family of a 65-year-old man and his 4-year-old granddaughter killed in a shooting outside a North Austin Target on Monday, August 11. The Austin Police Department identified Adam Chow, 65, and his granddaughter as two of the three people killed in the shooting, alongside 24-year-old Target employee Hector Leopoldo Martinez Machuca.
GoFundMe verified the fundraiser organized by Brian Sheen in benefit of the Chow Fung family. The proceeds are set to benefit the two’s funeral and memorial expenses “and whatever else [family members] need in the weeks ahead.”
The fundraiser identified Astrid Fung as the 4-year-old granddaughter, remembered by loved ones for her “joy, laughter, and light.”…
