Almyra resident Carlene Buerke claimed her winnings on August 8 after she bought the ticket at the Stuttgart C-Stop, located at 408 East 22nd St. in Stuttgart. During a normal routine to the grocery store, she buys a ticket, hoping for a big win. This time, she was attracted to the bright pink color of the new $10,000 Winning ticket, and it paid off big time. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing after she scratched off the top row at home. Her husband thought she was kidding.
Buerke plans to pay off their camper and sell it.
Winner #2 Wins $10,000 on the Same Day
Talk about luck, Jerry Frinzell of Rogers purchased a ticket at Walmart Fuel Center #5260 at 4206 S. Pleasant Cross in Rogers. Frinzell plays weekly, and his strategy of buying two tickets at the same time, hoping to win back-to-back, paid off. He wins often, normally under $500, but nothing this big. He won $130 the day before and decided to use some of that money to purchase two tickets; the first one netted him $20, and the second one revealed the $10,000 top prize…
