OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Omaha Metro Transit is launching their new Metro Flex service Wednesday. It works similarly to rideshare services and aims to address the “first and last mile problem” in public transportation.
Eighteen new vans will join Omaha Metro’s fleet on Wednesday. Metro flex will serve as an on-demand micro transit service to link all transit services directly.
