GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police said they arrested a 51-year-old man who is accused of a series of residential burglaries in the city’s Irving Park neighborhood.
Police said members of the department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) took Stephen Neal Trotter Jr. into custody. Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division said they had been looking into the break-ins since July 15.
Trotter faces multiple charges, including:
- Three counts of felony breaking and entering
- Five counts of felony larceny after breaking and entering
- Four counts of felony possession of stolen goods or property
- Four counts of felony obtaining property by false pretense
- Three counts of felony habitual larceny
- Three counts of misdemeanor injury to personal property
