Memphis police cruiser overturned in Midtown

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis Police Department cruiser was overturned in Midtown after the officer swerved when another vehicle entered the officer’s lane, according to Memphis Police.

At 4:24 p.m., an officer was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 29 North Avalon Street.

They said no injuries were reported, and that preliminary information says that the officer swerved to avoid a collision with a car that entered the officer’s lane.
