According to the Placer County District Attorney’s Office, the Placer County Superior Court has sentenced David Williams for his conviction of annoying and molesting a child. Despite his crimes fall under the state’s misdemeanor law, he is still required to register as a sex offender for 10 years.

PCDAO said that in 2024, David Williams, 30, started to secretly film underage girls in public spaces. A 14-year-old girl eventually noticed him following and recording her, which prompted her to report the incident to the Roseville Police Department.
After the identification was made by the victim and the security footage was reviewed, officials discovered that Williams was actively following at least 15 underage girls, PCSDAO said.
