Sheriff KP Falco made first arrest, Sacramento deputies say

Sheriff’s North Patrol Deputies arrived at the scene after a 21-year-old female reported she had been robbed at gunpoint near Elkhorn Boulevard and Thomas Drive, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said.

Person of interest arrested for possible homicide in Nevada County death investigation

Deputies set up a perimeter and initiated a search after learning that the suspect fled on foot, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff K9 Falco located the suspect who was found hiding in a nearby backyard.

Deputies took the suspect into custody and booked him into the Sacramento County Main Jail, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect was later identified as a 29-year-old gang member and remains in the county jail on $1 million bail…
