SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday that it executed a search warrant on the afternoon of Aug. 12 and seized numerous illegal weapons and drugs.
The search warrant was conducted at 121 Mariposa St. in Syracuse. The following was seized.
- 6.6oz (187 g) of cocaine
- Stevens Model 350 12 ga shotgun with a 12-inch barrel
- Mossberg 12 ga shotgun
- A loaded Springfield Armory Hellcat handgun
- A loaded Taurus Judge handgun
- A loaded Beretta Model 21A handgun
- An AK-47 model rifle
- A loaded Tech-9 handgun with a threaded barrel
- A loaded Smith and Wesson SD9 handgun
- Multiple Hi-capacity magazines
- Ammunition in various calibers
- 10 illegally possessed Switchblade Knives
- Scales and packaging consistent with narcotics trafficking
As a result of the search warrant, 41-year-old Nicholas St. Andrews and 39-year-old Heather Grems were arrested and charged with the following:
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (A Felony) – 1 count
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (B Felony) – 1 count
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (A Misdemeanor) – 1 count
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd (C Felony) – 6 counts
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd (C Felony) – 25 counts
- Criminal Possession of a firearm (E Felony) – 7 counts
- Criminally using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd (A Misdemeanor) – 2 counts
