CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — In a world where digital is becoming the new norm, local schools are working hard to keep up. CCISD’s “1:1 for Everyone” initiative is expanding access to digital learning tools for all students. This effort also aims to better prepare kids of all ages for a rapidly evolving world by teaching responsibility and accountability.
“We’ve been on the forefront of digital education and digital integration for a long time. We were recipients of a digital equity award back in 2023. So this is not nothing new for us in terms of our curriculum. It, uh, digital resources have been integrated for quite some time. It’s just the deployment methodology that’s a little bit different for us,” CCISD’s Director for Technology and Support Services Janelle Reyes said.
