Lubbock man arrested after accusations of attacking juvenile, woman with rifle

LUBBOCK, Texas–Court documents have disclosed the details of an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon incident that took place on Tuesday, that led to the arrest of 40-year-old Bobby Norris.

On Tuesday morning, police responded to a disturbance where a subject had a weapon. Dispatch advised that an assault had taken place, and Norris had a rifle, threatening a female.Police arrived on scene and saw two juvenile males at the highway who pointed out the location of the house. Police arrived at the home and learned that Norris had taken off with the rifle on a skid steer. Police located Norris operating a skid steer behind his house and he was taken into custody.

One Juvenile male, had a cell phone with an active FaceTime call to his uncle. The uncle said that he witnessed Norris strike the juvenile across the face while on FaceTime. The uncle was one of two callers to 911 about the incident. The juvenile then showed texts to the police where Norris told him to open the door or he was going to kill him, and called him a traitor…
