NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Students and staff at Indian Hills Elementary left the campus Wednesday afternoon due to a gas leak.
Officials with the school said a gas leak outside the school was confirmed by a gas company. All students and staff are safe and have been taken to First United Methodist Church, located at 6701 JFK Boulevard.
Students were dismissed at 11:30 a.m. from the back parking lot of the church and buses will run as usual. School officials said students who aren’t picked up will remain at the church until a parent or guardian is able to come. Lunch was provided before dismissal, school officials said…
