Orland Hills couple charged with endangering child after drug bust

An Orland Hills’ couple were charged with endangering the life of a child and possession of a controlled substance after police said they were found with cocaine and marijuana in their vehicle along with their child in the backseat when they were stopped July 28 in the 7800 block of West 157th Street, Orland Park police said.

Thomas McCleery, 44, and Erin Henrichs, 39, both of the 8900 block of Ridge Lane, were stopped after police learned McCleery was wanted on a warrant out of Will County for failing to appear in court on a domestic battery charge as well as failing to appear on a driving while license is suspended charge, police said.

When police stopped the vehicle, they observed Chorboy (a copper scrubber used as a filter for pipes during narcotics use) in a makeup bag near the vehicle’s center console…
