Lehigh Valley-based Mack Defense announced that it was awarded a five-year contract to continue production of Army dump trucks in Allentown.
Mack will make up to 450 more M917A3 Heavy Dump Trucks under a contract worth up to $221.8 million. The new agreement, which was finalized in June, follows the successful fulfillment of the initial contract awarded in 2018 and comes after the company recently celebrated the production of its 500th military dump truck in March.
