Victoria Parks quits county board in wake of ‘they begged for that beat down’ post

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A Cincinnati City Council member under fire for comments she made about viral videos of the Downtown violent attack, saying those who were assaulted “begged for that beat down” has abruptly quit a county board.

Victoria Parks resigned Wednesday from the Hamilton County Veterans Services Commission, according to a copy of the letter she wrote County Commissioner President Denise Driehaus.
