‘Too hot’: No AC sends Selma students home early on 1st day of school

SELMA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The first day of school was cut short at Eric White Elementary in Selma, and school officials were powerless to do anything about it.

“Felt like when you turn on the oven, when you open it just hits you like that. It felt like that,” said sixth grader Edgar Toralez.
