City of Huntsville announces reopening of Aldridge Creek Greenway following bridge collapse

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The City of Huntsville said the greenway is expected to reopen today following a railroad collapse on July 22.

The City said the Huntsville-Madison County Railroad Authority and its contractors worked swiftly the past two weeks to remove debris from the creek and repair the walking path.

Because of their work, the City said the greenway is expected to reopen on August 14…
