LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It was an open discussion at the Muhammad Ali Center for teens, by teens.
After attending the City of Louisville’s “Roots of Change” Youth Summit Aug. 2, 16-year-old Journey Hobbs said she can appreciate how much she’s opened her eyes to her community.
“Very educational, but not in the way that you learn in school,” she said. “It taught you a bunch of things you need to know in life to better you in life, and there were people that you could connect with and network with to get you to that point. You just got to want it for yourself.”…
