Four men have been taken into custody by law enforcement officials, including FBI agents, in connection with a series of cargo trailer thefts in metro Atlanta. The investigations, which have spanned several months, point to an organized effort to steal and subsequently sell goods transported by semi-trailers, as reported by WGXA News.
The suspects, identified as Quintin Marques Barkley, Willie Bernard Bigby, Terrell Jamelle Cordy, and Travis Dewaine Harvey, are alleged to have meticulously organized the thefts, beginning with two trailers that were reported missing in December 2024 from Forest Park. These trailers were later found empty having been tracked to Macon, with a deliberate use of GPS technology. In a subsequent incident reported by authorities on June 15, another trailer was found missing and similarly empty on the 3400 block of Napier Avenue in Macon, which illustrates the pattern that law enforcement was attempting to put together.
Investigative efforts resulted in the recovery of various stolen items including flat-screen televisions and mini fridges.
