Austin Police say suspect allegedly shot, killed girlfriend’s ex

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A 17-year-old was arrested in connection with a homicide that happened last week in east Austin, according to the Austin Police Department. Police also identified the victim.

APD: Teen dies, police investigating as a homicide at apartment complex on Rosewood Ave.

The suspect was identified as Douglas Clyde, according to police. Clyde was charged with first-degree murder, and his bond was set at $15,000, according to Travis County online court records.

Attorney information was not available for Clyde, as of Tuesday.

Police also identified the victim of the alleged shooting as 18-year-old Michael Atwood, per a news release from APD…
