GREENVILLE, Texas – On July 29, 2025, at approximately 10:00 a.m., members of the Hunt County SWAT Team and Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Lost Creek Trail. The warrant was the result of an extensive narcotics investigation by the Hunt County Narcotics Unit, with assistance from the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office and the Greenville Police Department.
The search uncovered illicit narcotics and firearms, leading to the arrest of 37-year-old Ellyn Michelle Black. She was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $175,000, but she remains in custody due to three outstanding warrants issued in February 2025 by the 354th District Court in Hunt County.
Black had previously been arrested in February 2025 and charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance 1/1-B, meth and fentanyl, as well as Endangering a Child Criminal Negligence for having a young child living in the drug environment. She spent three months in jail before being released on May 22, 2025, without bond for the Hunt County warrants but was required to post a $30,000 bond for a separate drug warrant out of Wood County…
