BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The largest school district in the state of Idaho has seen decreasing enrollment numbers for the past four years.
The West Ada School District, which primarily serves Meridian, Eagle, and Star, is the largest district in Idaho, educating 38,489 students from kindergarten through 12th grade. WASD and the state as a whole continue to see declining enrollment numbers as school choice gains in popularity.
A statement shared by WASD says, “We recognize that school choice is an important consideration for families as they explore the educational options that best meet their children’s needs.
