MILLCREEK, Utah (KUTV) — A family celebrated a heartfelt reunion with their missing cat weeks after a devastating fire tore through the Willow Glen Apartments in Millcreek, leaving dozens of people displaced.
“I walk out, everything is orange and embers everywhere,” said former resident Florencia Damico, who lost everything in the fire. “I didn’t think to grab my purse or my keys. I just wanted to get my cats out.”
She managed to pull both of her cats from under the bed, but in the chaos, Petunia vanished. “We have been out looking for her every night,” she said. “We set up traps, but we don’t know what we are doing.”…
