Eugene arsonist’s trial ends with 11 guilty verdicts

EUGENE, Ore. – A woman has been found guilty of setting her ex-boyfriend’s parents’ home on fire in Eugene’s Crescent Meadows neighborhood.

Jasmine Wright was convicted by a Lane County grand jury on 11 out of 13 charges, including five counts of first-degree arson.

Wright faces seven and a half years in prison, followed by three years of post-prison supervision. The incident occurred last July when Wright was accused of pouring a flammable liquid on the front porch of the home and igniting it. Fortunately, no injuries were reported…
