Thieves ‘armed with hammers and bear spray’ steal $1 million in jewelry in West Seattle

SEATTLE — Thieves stole an estimated $1 million worth of jewelry from a West Seattle jewelry store Wednesday, according to the Seattle Police Department.

SPD said multiple people “armed with hammers and bear spray” smashed windows and stole the merchandise from Menashe & Sons Jewelers on the 4500 block of California Avenue Southwest.
