Two men charged with attempted murder in Rensselaerville shooting

RENSSELAERVILLE — Two men have been arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting that left one person wounded early Sunday morning in the town of Rensselaerville.

According to Albany County Sheriff Craig D. Apple Sr., Lane J. Stannard, 24, of Berne, and Joel M. Keeny, 24, of Medusa, were both charged with second-degree attempted murder, a felony, along with felony conspiracy and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon.
