In Salton City, dreams of homeownership are becoming a reality thanks to the Coachella Valley Housing Coalition (CVHC). As the largest developer of low-income housing in Riverside County, CVHC has helped more than 1,900 families across the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas build and buy affordable homes.For families like one local mother, the program is life-changing. “It’s always been my dream to have my own home with my family,” she said. “We have a four-year-old daughter, and it’s just nice having our own space.
