Lancaster school dedicates library to first Black teacher

LANCASTER, Pa. — A school library in Lancaster has a new name, commemorating the district’s first Black teacher.

The School District of Lancaster announced the dedication of the library at Jackson Middle School to Fredrick Reed Sr., who served as first Black educator in the district.
